The Fashionable Frequent Flyers

Just when we thought our stay at the Almanara Luxury Resort couldn’t get any better, we ended up spending two more nights at one of the garden villas, and let me tell y’all, it was SPECTACULAR! I mean this place was HUGE! The whole time we were there, we thought about how this would be perfect for families or a couple’s getaway! Here, we had a dedicated team of staff which included a villa attendant, waiter, and chef, with the perks of all-inclusive dining, which primarily took place at our villa. Basically, we got the royal treatment!

The villa itself had three floors, a dining room, a living room, 3 bedrooms, a private veranda, and a nice spacious rooftop. Not to mention, the entire place was laced with incredible local and bespoke artwork highlighting African and Italian decor!

The food at the villa was just as exquisite as the food at the resort, which was not surprising at all! The menu was made up of a combination of Italian, Thai, and Kenyan cuisine. Every dish was flavorful and delicious! One night we had a seafood feast, while another night we dined on Italian food. I will say that while on holiday, the food always makes up half of the entire experience because, to me, that’s what holidays are about-eating and decompressing!

In addition, we also had access to the other pool on the property, which featured a nice swim-up bar! It was a great place to relax, enjoy great cocktails, and watch the monkeys roam around the property. To be honest, I felt like having them around was an additional perk because they were pure entertainment! Staying at the private villa was hands down an elevated and elite experience. After three weeks of touring the rest of Kenya, recharging at a beautiful luxurious villa was the rest we needed! When we do return to Diani Beach, we know where we’ll be staying!
