The Fashionable Frequent Flyers

Boston is a great and historical town to visit–I’m especially fond of doing so during the fall and winter. It’s very charming, especially during the holidays. My last two visits to Boston have taken place during the Thanksgiving period, and I’ve had a blast both times. While I’d love to go into details about all the amazing things you can do, I’m dropping in today to let you know about my favorite hotel in Boston — The Langham Boston: The epitome of luxury in the core of New England. I have now been to the Langham Boston three times, and with each visit, I love it more and more! I’m not burying the lede here: Langham Boston gets the coveted FFF 5* rating.

You’re obviously asking yourself — what is it that Justin loves so much about Langham Boston? The answer is ohhh so many things — but I’ll boil this down to a handful of considerations that are digestible for the purpose of the blog. First, service, service, and more SERVICE! Listen, the service at Langham Boston is unmatched — every time I leave this hotel, I feel like I’m leaving home. This is because they make me feel like I’m home. One special mention: the service at the Langham Club (more info on this below) is exquisite.

Second, you guessed it, the Langham Club! What is the Langham Club? It’s effectively a club lounge that a select number of guests have access to–specifically, certain guests in premium rooms and suites. Is it worth it? absolutely! First of all, the Langham Club is open from early morning to fairly late at night and serves three meals a day. Effectively, what that means is that your hotel experience can basically be an “all-inclusive stay” if you choose to have all your meals in the club lounge. And, because I know you are wondering, the quality of the food is exquisite! Better still, there’s all sorts of beverages included — soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. I routinely stopped by for a glass of champagne, and it was always a highlight of my day!

Third, the restaurant and bar offerings at the Langham Boston are superb, and for most luxury hotels, it’s rare to knock it out the park with all your in-hotel food and beverage offerings. There are two such offerings at the Langham — The Fed, which is a slick and suave bar and restaurant, and honestly the perfect spot for a date night, and Grana, which, in my opinion, is the most Instagrammable restaurant in Boston. The food in both establishments is elite, and the drinks at the Fed are splendid. One thing to note: Grana only does breakfast and lunch/brunch. So don’t plan for dinner there, unless you are planning an event. If you are planning an event, you can rent out the restaurant. I can vouch for the restaurant in that capacity too having rented it out for an engagement dinner, and it was superb! Everything was executed to perfection.

Finally, the hotel’s aesthetics are stellar! I love me a hotel where I can capture memories in a variety of different places. The hotel’s iconic pink phonebooth is loved by all for photo purposes. But that’s not all there is to offer — pretty much everywhere on the property is picturesque enough for photos and videos, including the suites. I selected this hotel as the location for an engagement shoot and the results were exquisite. Check out some flicks below. In all, it’s easy to see why this hotel got the FFF 5* rating. It’s truly a special place!
